Call of Duty: black ops cold war

Black Ops Cold War is the sixth installment in the Black Ops series set during the early 1980s of the Cold War, taking place between Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) and Black Ops II (2012) chronologically. It is centered around a pursuit of the alleged Soviet spy Perseus, whose stated goal is to subvert the United States and tilt the balance of power toward the Soviet Union.

For this project, I designed large scale maps for the game mode called Fireteams. This is a new 40-player category of Black Ops Multiplayer with up to 10 teams of four, where players face off to complete objectives in specific missions and maps.

I designed and detailed various locations and buildings in the maps shown below.

golova

Golova is a large multiplayer map featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for the Fireteam and Outbreak modes. First released in Outbreak with Season Two, the map is built around a Russian village and a large mansion located within the picturesque Ural Plains. Golova features plenty of close-quarter combat opportunities throughout the town, from a massive church to its rows of houses and industrial park.

I designed and partially detailed the entire town, the large church and the mansion located in the outskirts of the town.

sanatorium

A Soviet experimental health retreat based off of Druzhba Holiday Center that was built in 1984 in Yalta.

I designed and detailed the large, round Sanatorium building and the surrounding grounds, the winged monument and various other buildings in the map.

alpine

Set in in the Ural Mountains, Alpine is a multiplayer map featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War exclusively designed for the Fireteam mode.

duga

Duga is a large multiplayer map featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for the Fireteam and Outbreak modes. It was first released in Outbreak with Season Three.

I designed and detailed various locations in the map.
