Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Call of Duty: Black Ops II was released in 2012 and is the ninth game in the Call of Duty franchise, a sequel to the 2010 Call of Duty: Black Ops.

The campaign follows up the story of Black Ops and is set in two different time periods; the late 1980s and 2025. In the '80s, the player switches control between Alex Mason and Frank Woods, two of the protagonists from Black Ops, while in 2025, the player assumes control of Mason's son, David. Both time periods involve the characters pursuing Raul Menendez, a Nicaraguan cartel leader, who is responsible for kidnapping Woods in the 80s and later sparking a second Cold War in 2025. The campaign features nonlinear gameplay and has multiple endings.

Mob of the Dead

Mob of the Dead is a zombie map that was included in the DLC called Uprising for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The map and layout is based on real Alcatraz prison. I designed and detailed the Citadel, which is a huge basement under the main cell block comprising of store rooms, corridors and a circular staircase that connects the Citadel with dock.

Achilles' Veil

Achilles' Veil is a single player mission where the player goes undercover as a resistance fighter to track down Menendez; the main antagonist of the story. Responsibilities included carrying out final pass detail in Market area, the Palace and Quad-rotor Alley. Also performed clip pass, memory and performance optimization along with handling all the QA and art feedback for these areas.

Old WoundS

Set in Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion of 1980s, this single player mission puts the player in boots of an undercover CIA agent supporting Mujahedin against the Soviet army.

The designing and detailing of major parts of the level was finished by fellow designers, after which I was put in charge of the entire level where responsibilities ranged from designing to final pass detailing to performance and memory optimization. Also handled all the QA, design and art notes feedback from the studio.
